2011 Women of Achievement Honor Dr. Karen Guinn and Dr. Reta Floyd, Pasadena Chapter Associates

Dr. Guinn, left,  is now celebrating over twenty five years as a Pediatric Dentist/Orthodontist.

This mother of three, two girls and one boy, stays busy in her practice, but finds time for helping others, and tutors young students as well as helping through a number of organizations she belongs to such as Jack and Jill and The Links. Her children are now students at Howard University, in Washington, D.C., and Morehouse in Atlanta, Georgia. She maintains offices in Pasadena, CA and in West Covina, CA.

Dr. Floyd, on right, a Co-Director of South Central Health and Rehabilitation Program (SCHARP) an agency that serves the mentally Ill and their needs through medical treatment, residential assistance, substance abuse treatment, a former member of Jack and Jill Pasadena Chapter, is a member of the LINKS.  She is the mother of a daughter who attends UNLV and a son that attended Alabama A&M.
